Detailed information about Egypt eSIM

Highlights

  • • Plans for every stay: 1 GB to 20 GB for up to 30 days, or unlimited for 3 to 10 days.
  • • Delivered by email: QR code and setup guide right after purchase.
  • • Install before you fly — validity starts only with your first data use in Egypt.
  • • Data-only: keep your own SIM and number for calls and messages.
  • • No roaming fees — one price for the plan you choose.

Overview

The Egypt eSIM gives you mobile data across Egypt without hunting for a local SIM card at the airport. Pick the plan that fits your holiday: 1–3 GB for maps and messaging, 5–20 GB for a week or more by the Red Sea, or an unlimited plan for 3 to 10 days if you share lots of photos and videos.

After purchase you receive a QR code by email. Scan it on your eSIM-compatible phone, switch on data roaming for the eSIM line and you are online — at your resort in Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh, in Cairo or on a day trip to Luxor. You can install the eSIM at home before you travel; the plan’s days only start counting when you first use data in Egypt.

Includes & Excludes

  • ✅ Mobile data allowance of the plan you choose
  • ✅ Coverage across Egypt
  • ✅ QR code and step-by-step setup guide by email
  • ❌ Phone number, voice calls and SMS (data-only eSIM)
  • ❌ Use outside Egypt

Important Notes

  • • Your phone must support eSIM and must not be locked to a carrier — please check before you buy.
  • • Each eSIM can be installed on one device only; keep the QR code until installation is complete.
  • • Validity starts with the first data use in Egypt and ends after the plan’s number of days, even if data remains.
  • • Unlimited plans: after 3 GB of high-speed data per day, speed is reduced to 1 Mbps for the rest of that day.
  • • Coverage and speed depend on the local network; signal can be weaker in the desert and out at sea.
