Traditional Marbling (Ebru) Art Classes
Defining ebru as a form of fine arts would be deficient. Main materials for ebru are water and earth.
Overview
"All the ebru colors which come from different parts of the world, which have distinctive characteristics, they float so elegantly on the surface, it is an amazing experience just to witness this dialogue."
Defining ebru as a form of fine arts would be deficient. Main materials for ebru are water and earth. Water is necessary as a canvas, earth is necessary for coloring. When the colors of earth meet the water, a miracle takes place. Two fundamental substances of life, i.e. water and earth, present us with scenes from micro- and macro-universe, which we can only witness through telescope, microscope or sattelites.
